Younger-Looking Skin Made Easy
The MedSpa at Hendrick, located within Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas, offers BBL™ (broadband light) photofacials, non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatments that can provide luminous, younger-looking skin with minimal downtime. BBL photofacials stimulate new collagen production deep within the skin by delivering BBL light (similar to IPL/Intense Pulsed light) with minimal effect on surrounding skin.
BBL photofacials can help to improve the overall appearance of skin, diminishing age spots, sun-induced freckles, redness, symptoms of rosacea, birthmarks, unsightly veins, acne scarring, and much more.
Without downtime, BBL photofacials can help improve:
- Age spots
- Sun spots
- Sun damage
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Facial capillaries
Commonly used on the face, neck, and décolleté, photofacials are non-invasive, require little to no downtime, and typically reveal optimal benefits 7 to 14 days following treatment. A favorite treatment of our Medical Director, Dr. Whitney V. Mascorro, BBL photofacials are an excellent choice for sun-exposed Texans.
Forever Young BBL™ Photofacials in Abilene, Texas
Depending on your needs, BBL photofacials use different wavelengths, or filters, to target specific concerns. For example, a red BBL filter reduces redness while a brown filter diminishes age spots and freckles. Perhaps the most well-known BBL filter is Forever Young BBL™, a unique wavelength that is clinically proven to produce more youthful skin cells. In fact, studies show that repeated Forever Young BBL photofacials over the long term can help to dramatically improve the appearance of skin, diminishing fine lines and wrinkles while boosting skin’s elasticity, firmness, radiance, and much more.
